Company portfolio adds security, protection and elegance to the different living spaces of the Savoy Residence Insular in Madeira.

In a sophisticated and modern ambiance, the Savoy Residence Insular, the second development of the Savoy Residence brand in Madeira Island, introduces a new form of living in the city of Funchal. Vicaima proves its know-how and expertise using the selected solutions for this project applied at the entrances and interiors of the 49 apartments ranging from studio to four-bedroom typologies, and also in the common areas and terraces.

Bringing into balance the city’s historical legacy and an innovative future, the Savoy Residence Insular, designed by the RH+ Arquitectos studio, begins with the historic building of the former Companhia Insular de Moinhos to renew the real estate concept that this territory is known for. From duplexes and triplexes, to lofts bathed in natural light to apartments with terraces and private pools, security is one of the priorities at Savoy Residence Insular.

Vicaima supported this focus by including several of its security solutions for apartment entrances. The Portaro® SBD EI30 AC36 Inverse and the SBD EI30 AC35, integrating door, frame and security accessories, grant high levels of protection and comfort for apartment entrances. These SBD (Secured by Design) solutions are simultaneously certified by accredited laboratories for anti-intrusion, fire resistance and acoustic insulation.

The Portaro® Security and Acoustic AC35dB, which includes a shielded door and frame and security accessories, was also installed in this project, thereby ensuring the necessary peace of mind and comfort for its owners. In the common areas, the standard Portaro® 30-minute fire door and Inverse were also fitted. All these solutions are also accredited by international accredited laboratories.

The Vicaima Portaro® Inverse solution is characterised by the door facing the architrave or panels, lending the space an unmistakable architectural imprint through its continuous and straight-lined surfaces.

The finishes chosen for the Savoy Residence Insular were Naturdor® Maple and Lacdor White, echoing the harmony and elegance which characterise this luxury condominium. Located by the Atlantic Ocean, the project was inspired by the natural beauty of the Madeira archipelago. The privileged location of the Savoy Residence Insular, with its large balconies and swimming pools, offers panoramic views to the sea or to the centre of the vibrant Madeira capital, making it a true icon.

As a reflection of Vicaima’s commitment to sustainability, the company’s wide range of solutions integrated in this project is available with FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certification.
