Vicaima, a major European player in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge solutions for interior doors, frames, wardrobes and panels; and highly experienced in the hotel sector, is the door brand chosen to integrate the new NEYA Porto Hotel, located on the riverside area of the city, one of the most vibrant places in downtown. 

This development shrouded with history, results from the rehabilitation of part of the ruins of the Convent of Madre Deus de Monchique. The project, which boasts a modern construction and a breathtaking view over the River Douro, has maintained the original features of the convent and the garden cloisters, thereby preserving the essence and originality of the building.

Elegance and contemporaneity at the new NEYA Porto Hotel are enhanced by Vicaima's door solutions, tailored to a sober and customised ambience, aimed at promoting a memorable stay.

The Portaro® Inverse EI30 AC38dB was selected for the entrance of the rooms, featuring a 30 minute fire resistance class and sound isolation up to 38dB. The chosen finish was Naturdor® Oak, a natural wood veneer, bringing out the sophistication and beauty of the space, which perfectly blends in with the modern flair of the project. 

This new hotel development also features the Portaro® FD30 single and double leaf, Portaro® FD60 double leaf, as well as the Portaro® Double Action single leaf and Portaro® Double Action EI30 double leaf, in the common areas, such as corridors, emergency exits and dining room. Among other finishes, the different solutions also included a greyish brown lacquer, ideal for places which perfectly match with sober and distinct surroundings.

Set in an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication, Vicaima leaves its distinguishing imprint on yet another outstanding project in the hotel industry, providing solutions that genuinely meet the technical and aesthetic needs of an iconic space on the banks of the Douro.
